Cavs Dance Audition

LAWTON, Okla. – The Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry’s official dance team, the Cavs Dancers, will be holding open auditions at 2 p.m. on July 10 at the YMCA located at 5 SW 5th St in Lawton for the new 2010-2011 Cavs Dance Team.

Ladies must be 18 by Oct 1 in order to audition. Applications can be picked up at the Cavs office located in the CDBL building at 6 SE Lee Blvd in Lawton.

The registration fee is $20 and the ladies must bring a headshot attached to their application. They are asked to wear athletic shorts or hot pants and a midriff or bra top. Hair and make up must also be performance ready.

The audition will consist of learning and performing a 45-second jazz/hip-hop routine and a short interview.

Ladies wanting to audition must be able to learn quickly, perform high energy routines and maintain a professional appearance. All Cavs Dance Team members perform at games and at all other Cavs community appearances. Attendance is mandatory for these events.
