Mims earns 2010 PBL Playoff MVP honors

(Lawton, OK)\\– The Premier Basketball League announced today that Elvin Mims of the Lawton-Fort Sill Cavalry has been named the 2010 PBL Playoff Most Valuable Player.

Mims, a 6’7” forward from Southern Mississippi, was an unstoppable force in the PBL Playoff Series. Mims played an integral role in leading the Cavs to the 2010 PBL Championship Series and a nail-biting 2-1 victory over the two-time defending PBL Champions, the Rochester RazorSharks.

In the finals series, Mims averaged over 20 points per game and averaged 14 rebounds per game in the Cavs’ victories at Great Plains Coliseum in Lawton, OK on Apr 25 and 27.
